Building Contractor Services

Remodel of Existing Storage Area in a Prefabricated Metal Building.

  

The project consisted of the following scope of work:

  • Design-Build Project: Engaged an architect and MEP engineer for the construction      documents for the building permit.
  • Electrical Upgrades: Included a new meter box, automatic transfer disconnect      switch, new electrical panels, light fixtures, receptacles, low voltage rough-in, and a disconnect switch for the new air handling unit.
  • Mechanical Upgrades: Installation of a new mechanical air handling unit.
  • Interior Improvements: Removed the existing chain-link fence partition and      added a new interior metal stud wall insulated with plywood and drywall sheathing, a new hollow metal door, frame, hardware, a pass-through window, insulated the exterior metal wall panels, and applied new paint finishes.
  • Project Timeline: All work was performed in seven calendar days.

Additionally, the scope of work involved keeping the tenant operational without impacting their business hours. This required coordinating the temporary generator hook-up and removal, along with AEP’s removal and installation of the new electrical meter.

The project consisted of the following scope of work:

  • Exterior Improvements: Replacement of deteriorated metal panels in the wash bay      area, painting metal panels for the building, and installation of new bollard covers over existing concrete bollards.
  • Project Timeline: All work was performed in one week.

Additionally, the scope of work involved keeping the tenant operational without impacting their business hours. This required working after hours to perform tasks that would have otherwise disrupted their day-to-day operations.

The project consisted of the following scope of work:

  • Exterior Improvements: Replaced portions of the perimeter chain-link fence, including new gates, new barbed wire, straightening and replacement of damaged posts, and installing new concrete wheel stops.
  • Project Timeline: All work was performed in one week.

Replacement of a 7,000 SF concrete tile roof with a standing seam metal panel roof system.

The project consisted of the following scope of work:

  • Exterior Improvements: Removal of existing concrete tiles, replacement of water-damaged plywood sheathing and fascia boards as needed, installation of new Polystick MTS Self-Adhered High Temperature Roof Underlayment, new Double-Lock Zee-Lock metal panels from Berridge, continuous Zee Ribs with fasteners at 10” on center, new solar-powered Attic Breeze curb-mounted attic fans, new upsized gutters and downspouts, and new Hardie boards at dormers and locations between low and high roof areas.
  • Project Timeline: All work was performed in five weeks.

Additionally, the scope of work involved ensuring that plywood roofing sheathing was not left exposed to weather overnight.
